Up close and personal 2026

With a mixture of charisma, melancholy and unwavering energy, STEINER & MADLAINA have been delighting a steadily growing audience since 2012. On December 2, the Zurich-based artists will be guests at Im Wizemann in Stuttgart.

Their love of music brought them together at grammar school, and their love of making music together has brought the two musicians back on tour: Nora Steiner and Madlaina Pollina combine poetic lyrics with polyphonic singing and modern folk and indie rock elements to create their very own sound, which has earned them a growing fan base for years. As part of their "Nah Dran" tour, the duo will be stripping down to the essentials in intimate venues. Up close and direct - the way they have always done it and the way it works best.

With their latest album "Nah Dran", they show an artistic side of themselves with which they manifest their constant further development. The music is bold, multi-layered and tells stories with which STEINER & MADLAINA go live with their band the Romantic Commission. These will be shows that are part of the duo's DNA - atmospheric, emotional and special.
