Steptanz aus dem Jazzkeller

In the organizer's words:

Some know it, some suspect it, for others it is a mysterious myth: tap dancing takes place at Café Modigliani, or more precisely in the jazz cellar of Café Modigliani.
And has been for many years. If you walk past the café in summer, you can hear the tap dancing and jazz music through the open cellar windows. Anyone sitting in the café will witness how adults flock to the cellar in small numbers in the evening and come back upstairs after an hour, sweaty and exhilarated.

The whole thing is led by Ulrike Dinger. With great patience and enthusiasm, she passes on the knowledge and skills she has acquired and developed at numerous tap dance and jazz workshops and festivals. "It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing" is a motto that still holds true for her.

Weather permitting, she and her adult students will perform a few dances from her teaching program outside Café Modigliani. Have fun and good entertainment!
