Markus Stockhausen, Florian Weber, Claudio Puntin
Three outstanding soloists, exclusively called together as a trio by the Multiphonics Festival. All with wide-ranging musical senses, deeply rooted in European art music, shaped by the uniqueness of improvisation, traces that lead them to jazz. What can happen there, artistically, musically, psychologically, humanly? Markus Stockhausen, Claudio Puntin and Florian Weber have known each other for decades and have composed new music for this special occasion - individually, for each other, in dialog. They know what works, they know that many things work. The result cannot be planned, but it can be experienced: music full of spontaneity, trust and artistic daring. A moment, a sound, a leap into the unknown. And perhaps precisely for this reason: into the essential.
Instrumentation

Yom X Ceccaldi - Le Rythme du Silence
Yom describes itself as a passionate clarinet nomad. Starting from traditional klezmer, he strolls through rock, Americana, classical and contemporary music to unclassifiable forms, spiced with a touch of electronics, realizing his vision of music as a constant approach to the human soul. His quest for universality and spirituality also inspired him to create sacred music, which also finds harmony in the music of his trio with violinist Théo Ceccaldi and cellist Valentin Ceccaldi. As illustrious explorers of contemporary French jazz, they explore the "rhythm of silence" from meditation to trance, from the suspension of time to rhythmic liberation beyond all cultural references.
