From April 30 to May 3, 2026, Siegfriedplatz in Bielefeld will be transformed into a huge food mile: The Street Food Festival by We Love Street Food opens the street food season here and invites visitors on a culinary journey around the globe. With an expanded concept, even more food trucks and a varied program, the event is the perfect start to the street food season.

Numerous food trucks and street food stalls will present their international specialties and bring the diversity of world cuisines directly to Bielefeld. From hearty BBQ creations and exotic dishes to sweet dessert variations - there is something for every taste. Freshly prepared dishes, creative food concepts and authentic recipes ensure varied moments of enjoyment.

In addition to the wide variety of dishes, guests can expect a large selection of refreshing drinks, beer and cocktail stands as well as numerous seating options that invite you to linger and enjoy together. The special atmosphere at the popular Siggi makes the street food event a meeting place for groups of friends, families and anyone who appreciates good food and a relaxed festival atmosphere.

A varied supporting program also provides additional entertainment. To kick things off on Thursday, Cuban musicians will bring a real summer feeling to the square with rousing rhythms and Caribbean sounds. The Latin cover band will transform the evening into a rousing music event with Latin classics such as "Oye Como Va" by Carlos Santana through to modern reggaeton hits such as "Despacito" and "Bailando". With their energetic live performance, Barbara & VaiVen Cubano provide pure joie de vivre, a dance atmosphere and the unmistakable charm of Latin America.

On Friday, May 1st, everyone will celebrate together on Siegfriedplatz: At the big May Day party, music and a festival atmosphere make for a perfect national holiday evening. Families are also well catered for: there is a bouncy castle for the little ones to have some extra fun.

The Street Food Festival stands for enjoyment, conviviality and joie de vivre - and turns Siegfriedplatz into a lively meeting place full of taste sensations and good vibes for four days.

The event starts on Thursday at 18:00, directly after the early weekly market.
On the following days, the food trucks will open from 12:00 noon and invite you to taste and enjoy until well into the evening.
