Tausch und Trödel

At the end of March, starts the season for the traditional flea market on Siegfriedplatz after the winter break at 3 pm. All subsequent swap and flea markets will take place as usual on the last Saturday of every month. The Bürgerinitiative Bürgerwache e. V. (Citizens' Initiative Citizens' Watch) then offers people the opportunity to dawdle, meet and chat on Siegfriedplatz from 3 to 6 pm.

The flea markets are organized by the Bürgerinitiative Bürgerwache e. V. on a voluntary basis. The "Siggi Flea Market" is a neighborhood flea market that only offers stalls to residents of the "Old West of Bielefeld" and excludes commercial traders, offering not only the opportunity to "hunt for bargains" at low prices, but is also a popular meeting place in the district.
