With music that combines groove, melancholy and contemporary jazz in a personal way, the Susi Lotter Quintet creates an intense and at the same time memorable band sound. At the center are strong original compositions - carried by a palpable joy of playing. Emotional, energetic and surprisingly accessible. This makes the Susi Lotter Quintett one of the most exciting projects of a new generation of German jazz musicians. The bassist and composer has already been honored with the BMW Young Artist Jazz Award and several times with the Bavarian Jazz Association's sponsorship award.
