It is pure life. For Johann Sebastian Bach, music with its laws of harmony reflects the order of creation and is itself part of the greater whole. It can imitate birdsong, thunder and lightning, laughter and tears and at the same time guide people's minds, emotions and consciences. With Bach, the "Leonardo da Vinci" of music, the highest art of composition and a passionate urge to discover are two sides of the same coin. In the Brandenburg Concertos, for example, he experimented with a wide variety of solo instruments. They are a "reflection of the diversity of creation", says Sven Helbig, "especially through the variety of instrument combinations." The electronic artist juxtaposes the Brandenburg No. 2-5 with several interludes, in which he also transfers the organizing principles of nature to electronic music, creating a contemporary sound synthesis. After the great moment "Local Heroes 4.0" and the world premiere "Holo Harmonies", the SKO and chief conductor and violinist Thomas Zehetmair are now looking forward to another milestone with Helbig's art.
