In their songs, Hamburg-based band Swap the Giant wrap up stories from life about relationships, inner conflicts and reveries in melodic alternative rock with progressive influences that is catchy and makes use of a wide variety of stylistic devices from other musical genres. For example, a playful love song with indie influences can be found alongside the driving sounds of a metal riff or spoken word vocals.

Clara Bow from Hamburg combine indie, garage and punk elements to create an unmistakable sound that is raw, melodic and extremely catchy. Their songs sound like an alternative to the streamlined mainstream. With a dose of DIY spirit, a feminist attitude and polyphonic vocals, Clara Bow is reminiscent of early riot grrrl garage bands.

BULLSHIT BOY is energetic happy punk from Hamburg with melodic excursions into alternative music genres. With concentrated female power, the trio strikes exactly the right note that goes forward - in both English and German. A clear edge, catchy melodies and driving beats invite you to bawl and dance along. The band members are seasoned professionals and met in 2019. The trio consists of Sabine on vocals and guitar (e.g. Dark Horse), Carsten on drums (e.g. Emils, Rastaknast, Gottkaiser) and Silvie on bass (e.g. Gottkaiser).
