In the organizer's words:
Diakonie Michaelshoven was founded in 1950 and was able to acquire the current site five years later.
To mark the 75th anniversary, Carlos Stemmerich will first give an entertaining talk with photos, some of which have not yet been published. This will be followed by a tour of the village with the typical stylistic features of the 1950s.
The listed church and the park will also be visited.
The tour lasts approx. 1.5 hours and is barrier-free. The meeting point is the headquarters of Diakonie Michaelshoven: Gertrud-Bäumer-Haus, Pfarrer-te-Reh-Str. 1, 50999 Cologne.
Registration is not required.
