An atmospheric evening awaits you with two outstanding artists from the Scottish folk scene: Simon Kempston & Paul Tasker combine poetic song lyrics with sensitive guitar and banjo playing - creating a concert full of intimacy, depth and musical finesse.

Both musicians are firmly rooted in the British singer-songwriter scene and inspire audiences worldwide with their handmade music and impressive stage presence. Their songs tell stories - sometimes quiet and touching, sometimes powerful and rhythmic.

Simon Kempston and Paul Tasker, fresh from their successful and critically acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe show "Songs Without Words", announce the release of their debut album of instrumental duets "Tangled Strings".

Long regarded as two of Scotland's leading acoustic guitarists, here they present original compositions that showcase their mastery of mood, melody and texture.

Join the duo on a varied musical journey through a landscape of breathtakingly complex arrangements and magically shifting soundscapes. Simon Kempston will also accompany some of the songs with his unforgettable voice.
