Backstage, uncensored, unembellished. Two dancers give an insight into everyday life between casting, wardrobe and sweaty rehearsals. Styles such as salsa, house, ballet and contemporary dance meet personal memories and insider knowledge that is rarely spoken out loud in the dance world: It's about money, about being different and about moments when one's identity - whether due to appearance, gender or disability - was in the spotlight.

With tactile and audible costumes, social media aesthetics, participatory dance and integrated, creative audio description, Tanzselfies #unfiltered invites you to experience the stage in a new way. T.I.A. dance productions is a collective founded in 2023 at the intersection of social art practice and dance, led by queer, BiPoC and disabled artists. It develops innovative, intersectional and anti-ableist formats of accessibility and explores integrated creative audio description. T.I.A. combines diverse dance styles and perspectives, sensitizes cultural institutions to inclusion and has presented works at Mousonturm, Implantieren Festival and Riviera Festival, among others.
