Every second Saturday from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, the Cologne wine cellar becomes a meeting place for all those who not only want to drink wine, but really want to experience it. At Taste & Talk, you have the opportunity to meet renowned winemakers in person, taste their wines and talk to them directly.

The Markus Schneider winery was founded in 1994 - originally in a small barn in the middle of the village. Over the years, this idea developed into one of the best-known wineries in the Palatinate. Today, the wines stand for powerful style, clear origin and the diversity of the special sites around Ellerstadt.

The Cologne wine cellar - More than wine. An experience.

At 2,500 square meters, the Cologne wine cellar is one of the largest historic wine vaults in Germany. Over 51 steps or by elevator, it is 13 meters deep to almost 4,000 wines from around 800 wineries worldwide. Awarded the title of "Wine Merchant of the Year 2025", our sommeliers make the difference: they advise, tell stories and accompany you at tastings, stand-up tastings and other events.
