Interactive performance walk with Yara Richter
Meet-up: 12:45 at UTOPIA Kiosk
Do we all have to be loud, colorful and dazzling in order to fight for our place in the city? What happens to the nuances, to that which is in flux, remains ambiguous or refuses to settle?
Together with Yara Richter (no pronouns), you are invited to queer the urban space around the UTOPIA kiosk. Using materials such as wool and other soft traces, an interactive walk will be created during which small temporary interventions in the city will become visible. Feel free to bring your own materials!
We will water the dandelions with our tears, scream into the cracks in the asphalt, write internal friction on the construction fence and observe the city air as it wraps itself around the bodies of birds. In doing so, we draw on Black and decolonial queer perspectives from FLINTA*, lesbians and womanists.
