With her upcoming album "The Lighthouse", Dutch-British singer, songwriter and composer Tessa Rose Jackson is opening a new chapter: after years of releasing music under the stage name Someone, under which she created artful, electronic dream-pop worlds, she is now presenting her most personal and honest musical work. Created in a quiet place in France - more precisely in a house next to a cemetery - "The Lighthouse" sounds like a beacon in the fog: it is about loss, but also about courage and finding one's own light again. Inspired by artists such as Beck, Joni Mitchell and Fiona Apple, Tessa touchingly weaves organic folk, cinematic atmosphere and introspective lyrics into a work full of warmth and depth.
