The Düsseldorf Düsterboys

In the organizer's words:

"Duo Duo" is the title of The Düsseldorf Düsterboys' new album, on which they do what a duo in pop has to do: They make music. Peter Rubel and Pedro Concalvez have recorded a colorful, passionate, even adjective-rich folk album for us: "Very good melodies, neat harmonies and visionary lyrics," say the two Düsterboys themselves about their work. The first single "Ab und zu" almost sounds like music from Cuba, although Cuban music is also strongly influenced by Spanish music, whereas Pedro-Goncalves-Crecenti from the Düsterboys is known to have his roots in Brazil. Well, let's agree on outernational folk music, shall we? So we would like to call "Duo Duo" a folk album for the multiverse.
