The Pighounds: That's grunge from Dortmund
A duo that sounds like five. Energetic, dynamic, loud, quiet, soulful and brute.

Not even a year has passed since the last album release and The Pighounds are back from their winter break with a new single.
"ZERREISS DIR NICHT DAS MAUL" is, as we know it from Peter and Sandro, thematically close to everyday life, but anything but everyday for the duo from Dortmund. For the first time, there is a song with exclusively German lyrics.
Shit happens on our doorstep, let's tell it like it is. The Pighounds are constantly evolving, giving little thought to musical boundaries and rules. The next step has been taken, they speak plainly. Against all forms of discrimination and hatred.

At the turn of the year 25/26, the Pighounds went a little quiet, drummer Alessandro De Luca had to have shoulder surgery and was out for months.
But the Pighounds were hard at work and had already written new material and recorded the drum tracks before the operation. This allowed them to use the forced break to complete the production of the songs.
This resulted in three tracks, which the duo will release in spring 2026.
A new album is not yet planned for this year, as the band only released their last full-length album "Tutti Frutti" in 2025.
"We wanted to use the time when I can't perform and were in the mood for new songs," explains drummer Sandro.
And now the time has finally come, the songs are gradually being shared with the world and the live shows are starting again.
Anyone who has already experienced The Pighounds live is looking forward to the next time and for everyone else it's high time for this rousing and sweat-inducing concert experience.
