The Physicists - Friedrich Dürenmatt's drama with the school theater group "Die Spielwütigen" - Two performances: 3 p.m. & 7 p.m.

The students of the group "Die Spülwütigen" cordially invite you to experience the fascinating play "Die Physiker" under the direction of Stefan Brosig. In a gripping production, they bring a story to the stage that makes you think about science, ethics and political responsibility.

The play is set in a psychiatric clinic where three seemingly insane physicists are housed. One of them believes he is Einstein, another thinks he is Newton and the third pretends to be King Solomon. But as the plot unfolds, it becomes clear that their apparent madness is just a facade. Behind the scenes, questions are raised about the responsibility of scientists when dealing with dangerous findings. "The Physicists" addresses the danger of misusing scientific discoveries for warlike or destructive purposes and shows the political tensions involved. The play challenges the audience to think about the ethical limits of research and to reflect on the role of politics in controlling scientific developments. With a mixture of drama, black humor and socially critical elements, the performance offers not only exciting entertainment, but also a critical examination of current political and scientific issues. Be there when young talents take to the stage and tell a story that will have a lasting effect.
