Welcome to my theater workshop. From the age of 10 I was already performing sketches, by the age of 15 I had developed a "cheeky-frivolous one-man-show", which I performed constantly. Theater workshops, acting lessons, tap dancing and pantomime courses helped me to present myself better on stage and at the age of 18 I was allowed to perform my "kaba-reh", an idiosyncratic mixture of sketch-joke-travesty and with a lot of audience contact, regularly on the Munich cabaret stage MUH. I completed my acting training at the age of 26 at Studio Haller in Heidelberg. Since then I have been working independently as an actor, theater teacher, director and author. Since 1989, I have been running my self-developed "Theater-Impro-Spiele" courses and workshops for amateurs, teachers, children, young people, adults, trainees and juvenile detainees. I am trained in jazz and ballet. Further training with Augusto Bual (Forum Theater), Peter Galka (theater pedagogy). Duda Pavian and Neville Tranter (puppetry). I have been working in Stuttgart since 1999 and have been teaching at the Weissenburg Center since 2003. My aim is to strengthen your self-confidence, to test your limits and to encourage your creativity, playfulness and zest for life. Using the basic elements of performing arts, you will get to know yourself better in a playful way. This will enable you to act and react more sensitively. I will sharpen your stage presence through scenic play, improvisation, as well as solo, partner and group exercises. My warm-up is a mixture of creative games, relaxation exercises, body awareness, voice and breathing training, bioenergetic exercises, yoga, dream journeys and animal work. I respond to impulses from the group. I now work as a theater therapist. By dealing with your emotions and embodying different roles, you can playfully free yourself from deadlocked behavior patterns. Are you interested in trying yourself out? Then let your inner child run free and come along. I look forward to seeing you and your hidden talents. At our improv performances "Showtime", the audience can join in and so can you.
