Tom Skinner

British drummer, composer and producer Tom Skinner has been a formative and central figure in the underground music scene in London for around 20 years. Among other things, Skinner is known as a founding member of Sons Of Kemet, which he founded together with Shabaka Hutchings. He also forms the band The Smile with Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood. Skinner has also worked with many other well-known musicians such as Grace Jones, Meshell Ndegeocello, Jarvis Cocker, Matthew Herbert, Mulatu Astatke and Floating Points. Tom Skinner released his first album under his own name, "Voices of Bishara", in 2022, followed in 2025 by "Kaleidoscopic Visions" on International Anthem in collaboration with Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings.
