Melaten: Place of executions and infirmary

Cologne's oldest cemetery also has a history as a leprosy and execution site. We look at the traces of that time, walk along the "Avenue of Millions" and visit the graves of some important, albeit relatively unknown, dead. These include Formula 1 driver Rolf Stommelen, engine pioneer Nikolaus August Otto, cowboy artist Billy Jenkins and Hänneschen founder Christoph Winters.

Note: The tour is understandable for everyone. So not 100% op Kölsch.
