South Cemetery: athletes, stars & weird birds

The southern cemetery was laid out as a park-like landscape in 1896. We visit the graves of great Cologne sportsmen and women, carnival stars, artists and everyday heroes and learn many an anecdote from their lives. Among others: Soccer world champion Hans Schäfer and boxer Peter Müller, singer Karl Berbuer, the anti-fascist southern city pastor Georg Fritze and the social reformer and women's rights activist Marie Juchacz. With the Commonwealth Cemetery of Honor, we even enter a piece of land that belongs to Great Britain.

Note: The tour is understandable for everyone. So not 100% op Kölsch.
