TRACES OF RESPONSIBILITY

TRACES OF RESPONSIBILITY is an interactive experience in which viewers are immersed in a multi-perspective exploration of the complex origins and aftermath of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda. On a journey through present-day Rwanda, the audience decides for themselves how deeply they want to immerse themselves in history. The cinematic multiplayer adventure allows the narrative to be democratized, with 16 possible endings and 8 main storylines offering a total of 38 decision points over the nearly 7-hour duration of the film. Students will embark on this immersive journey in a 2-hour screening at FILMHAUS Cologne as well as interested guests at the IFS in a public event.
