In the organizer's words:

A musical coexistence of memory, origin and present.

What does arriving sound like? What does the in-between sound like - between languages, generations, stories?
Together with the intercultural association Can Arkadaş, the Treppenhausorchester is putting on a concert evening about origins, homesickness, friendship and community. Turkish folk songs, new texts, classical miniatures and original songs will be performed - sometimes in the original language, sometimes reimagined.

"ES KAMEN MENSCHEN AN" is not a classical concert, but an invitation to listen, sing along, think along - and to create a shared image of what diversity can sound like.

A reservation fee of 5 € will be charged. Pay what you can on site. Remaining tickets may be available at the Box Office.
