This concert blurs the boundaries between orchestra and chamber music. The 3rd Symphony by Johannes Brahms is performed this evening in a transcription for piano quartet. The powerful chords of the piano and the intimate sounds of the string instruments create a pulsating energy and turn this arrangement into a particularly intense concert experience. The audience is immersed in the rich colors of this impressive symphony.
