TRIDICULOUS are modern clowns who offer far more than breathtaking artistry. What initially appears to be fast-paced, spectacular and light-footed soon unfolds further levels and becomes an experience that is not only highly entertaining but also emotionally moving.

With roots in the Berlin breakdance scene, the three multi-talented artists combine artistry and dance, beatboxing, singing, slapstick and comedy to create a multi-layered work of art in which virtuosity is never an end in itself. Their stories are about collaboration, creativity and mutual trust - supported by intelligent humor, impressive musicality and a palpable closeness to the audience.

With a mischievous playfulness, they break down viewing habits: When the momentum of a somersault becomes rhythm or artistry is accompanied by live music, poetic images of movement and sound are created that are immediately moving. Here, movement becomes music - and music becomes movement.
