U14 Kids Kanu Cup

On September 20, the Leipziger-Kanu-Club e.V. grounds at Pistorisstraße 71 will be transformed into a lively competition arena for the U14 Kids Kanu Cup. Anyone who has ever cycled from Leipzig towards Lake Cospuden is likely to have already passed our idyllically situated boathouse.

This Sunday, the focus is on the youngsters: for many children, it is their very first competition - an unforgettable moment. Others use the opportunity to develop their sporting skills and take the next step in their age group. Motivation, excitement and ambition are correspondingly high.

Spectators can expect a varied sporting program: In the canoe slalom, the young athletes show off their skills on the course, while they compete against each other in a child-friendly version of kayak cross in a parallel slalom followed by a knockout system - exciting, fair and with plenty of action.

There will also be a great atmosphere off the water: a lavish cake buffet, homemade treats and a barbecue stand invite you to linger. Spectators are welcome to cheer on the children, enjoy a slice of cake or simply spend a relaxing day by the water.

Admission is free of charge. If you come along with your own children, you might even get the chance to try out canoeing for yourself.
