Udo's music is one thing for sure: entertaining.

Between rock and pop, reggae, blues and world music, his songs are about the small and big moments in life - sometimes thoughtful, sometimes tongue-in-cheek, sometimes sparkling - but handmade and always touching. He is supported by his excellent band, with whom he covers a broad spectrum, from acoustic depth to energetic rock numbers.

He himself says: "A song should always tell its story, that's the most important thing. And so I am actually a storyteller, a traveling singer who stands in front of people with his little experiences and wisdom, and paints pictures in the air of sailing around the world and beautiful Bedouin daughters, of loving...and unfortunately not being loved again."

Udo regularly tours throughout Germany, performing in intimate clubs as well as on large festival stages. Last year, he and his band played over 50 concerts from Hamburg to Heidelberg, from Krefeld to Berlin, with a highlight as support for the British new wave band "Fischer-Z".
