UNANiM Kollektiv - Lower Level - ZEIT FÜR ZIRKUS 2025

The performance will take place on the underground intermediate level of the Heumarkt subway station!

Lower Level deals with the question of collectivity and solidarity-based care. It invites the audience to embark on a tour of changing perspectives. Accompanied by contemporary dance and acrobatics by the performers, the diverse facets of our social action are illuminated. How do we move within spatial boundaries - how do we move within the boundaries of social structures? Lower Level creates a laboratory in which different experiences can take place.

The collective UNANiM, consisting of Gernot Hoffmann, Lucia Nordhoff, Joke Jesinghaus and Romi Okewu, uses interactive performances to explore the ways in which contemporary dance and circus can build a relationship with the audience. The performance is not seen as one-way communication, but as an exchange with the audience, the venue, the environment and the context in which the piece is situated. For the further development of the piece in fall 2025, the collective is working with three other performers: Swantje Kawecki, Francesca Merolla and Jona Schlotbohm.
