Vanja Sky is Croatia's answer to Sheryl Crow and Norah Jones - and has long been a fixture on the international blues and rock scene. Her career reads like a modern rock fairytale: Just five years after picking up the guitar, she recorded her debut album at the legendary Bessie Blues Studios in Tennessee - together with greats from the international blues scene and under the direction of Grammy-winning producer Jim Gaines.

Vanja finally made her breakthrough with her second album "Woman Named Trouble". In 2020, ROCKS MAGAZINE named the album one of the best releases of the year - alongside albums by AC/DC, Deep Purple, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen. Since then, Vanja Sky is no longer an insider tip, but one of the most exciting artists between blues, rock and classic retro sound.

Her musical roots lie deep in the blues, inspired by legends such as Rory Gallagher, Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughan. At the same time, Vanja has the energy and attitude of rock: raw, honest and full of passion. With her distinctive voice and vintage sound reminiscent of Joan Jett, she combines tradition and modernity in a unique way.

In 2023, she released her third album "reborn", a powerful statement of new beginnings and artistic development. Vanja is supported by top-class guests such as Gerry McAvoy (Rory Gallagher) and Ric Lee (Ten Years After). The title says it all: Vanja Sky is more mature, more rocking - without losing her blues soul.

Live, Vanja Sky unfolds her full strength. Whether at international festivals, in the ROCKPALAST or as support for legends such as Suzi Quatro, UFO and Canned Heat - her stage presence is intense, captivating and authentic.
