In the organizer's words:
A three-hour introductory course in metal leaf gilding.
Participants learn the basics of a modern, easily controllable gilding technique and gild one or more small objects.
At the beginning of the course, the objects are prepared and coated with an acrylic-based primer.
During the drying time, a theory and exchange phase takes place in which the structure of the system, different gilding techniques as well as materials and metals are presented. The surfaces are then activated, gilded with transfer leaf metal and polished.
