Vernissage Johannes Jakob Wagner - Malerei / Gerenot Richter - Grafik

Cordial invitation to the opening of the exhibition on Friday, December 5, 2025, 7 pm, Room 2

Johannes Wagner, born in Dresden in 1997, now lives and works in Leipzig. In his work, he combines and brings together motifs from literature, media and his own experiences on canvas. In doing so, he creates surreal landscapes and narratives in which light and composition create an unapproachable atmosphere. Wagner began his studies at the Dresden University of Fine Arts in 2017. After completing his foundation course, he was accepted into Wolfram Scheffler's specialist class. During his studies, he took part in group exhibitions in Germany and the Czech Republic. Johannes Wagner had his first solo exhibition at the Roland Gräfe Foundation, followed by a solo exhibition at the Dresden Higher Regional Court. Gerenot Richter (1926 - 1991) was already shown with his works in the previous exhibition. We are extending the exhibition with these mysterious and metaphorical sheets by the Berlin graphic artist. The artist's son has given us additional works for the successful presentation. Stay curious!
