We open doors and bottles!
On October 24 at 6 p.m. we are launching the exhibition Urban Trails & Woodland Tales by Roman Klonek - and invite you to the vernissage!
The Düsseldorf artist is internationally renowned for his extraordinary woodcuts.
Using the "lost cut" technique, he cuts color after color into the same board - until it is destroyed in the end. Each print is therefore a unique piece.
This time, Roman Klonek moves between urban environments and fairytale-like stories: strange hybrid creatures, enigmatic characters and full, colorful surfaces with influences from comic aesthetics, pop culture and propaganda graphics. These are visual worlds that seem both familiar and strange at the same time.
And because art never works for us without champagne, here are our three usual suspects to toast:
be°glückt:
- Primo (The Pinot Blanc bottle fermentation)
- Secco (the fruity one)
- Libero (the non-alcoholic one)
