For 30 years, the Cologne-based organization Pro Peace has been supporting people and initiatives worldwide who oppose violence and build peace.

Four years after the proclaimed 'turning point', people's longing for peace is unbroken, but the right path is the subject of fierce debate. How can peace grow again in a world characterized by armament and hatred, lawlessness and growing authoritarianism? Today more than ever: peace grows from the bottom up, from the commitment of individuals, initiatives and civil societies.

Together with the Cologne VHS, Pro Peace invites you to an evening that is both encouraging and thought-provoking.

Together we want to talk about what citizens and politicians in Germany can learn from the peace partners of Pro Peace in order to oppose violence here in Germany and overcome rifts in our society. You can expect impulses from experienced peace activists from Ukraine, Palestine & Israel and Germany.

On the occasion of our 30th anniversary, we look forward to an inspiring exchange with you.
