This time we are looking forward to the new intercultural choir "PIA" in Ehrenfeld under the direction of Mehmet Akbaş.
They want to use music to build a bridge between people of different origins and generations. It is not important to speak as many languages as possible, but to perceive music as a language that connects.
On August 20, we will sing songs in Kurmancî, Zazaki, Turkish, Armenian and other languages - but you don't have to speak any of them to join in!
VIERTELTÖNE shows how many languages belong to Ehrenfeld. As an Allerweltshaus, we want to set an example - for diversity and togetherness in the Veedel.
