Nicola Kilimann, who is behind the solo project VINTER, dreamed of becoming a writer as a child.
Today, she lives out this dream in her music, a mixture of captivating alt-pop, organic indie folk and singer/songwriter elements. In 2021, she released her debut album Seasons, which transformed her from an insider tip into one of the most exciting new voices in European pop music.

Her songs are characterized by strong contrasts and emotional facets, in which she interweaves autobiographical and fictional elements. VINTER plays with the depth of her lyrics and avoids any superficiality, which is reflected in her detailed song miniatures. She is currently working on her second album Romance Is Dead, which will be released in July this year.
