Vitrine spezial – Bite me!

In the organizer's words:

What do a snarling wolf, a biting giant crocodile and a snapping shark have in common? You can marvel at them until the end of August in our "Vitrine special - Bite me!" at Rosenstein Castle!

Under the title "Bite me!" you can bite into anything that has to do with teeth and jaws. Four major themes are explored in the showcases and cleverly guide you to the permanent exhibition, where exciting details and exhibits are waiting to be discovered. QR codes provide further information about the rich diversity of teeth.

The theme is the start of a series of so-called "Volo showcases", which can now be found in both buildings with changing themes. These will be conceived, designed and implemented by the museum's five scientific volunteers. During their two-year training at the museum, they can learn all about the creation of an exhibition in addition to their focus on education, communication and marketing.
