DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER Antonio Vivaldi's world-famous cycle: The Four Seasons is one of the most impressive sound paintings in music history. In four concerti, the composer tells of the awakening of spring, the shimmering heat of summer, the festive sounds of fall and the quiet cold of winter. In addition to the famous Four Seasons, works from Boccherini to Mozart will be presented in the first part of the concert. The Dresden Residence Orchestra dedicates itself to these masterpieces with great stylistic finesse and tonal elegance. The ensemble is known throughout Germany for its expressive interpretations in small ensembles, its homogeneous ensemble playing and its lively programs. It was founded by Prof. Igor Malinovsky, who has shaped the orchestra's artistic profile to this day.
