Volksfest an den Grummer Teichen

On Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, the Grummer Teichen will be the venue for a big party. The traditional folk festival organized by the Bochum-Mitte district in cooperation with Bochum Marketing GmbH is now taking place for the 40th time. Guests can expect a colorful mix of music and dance on stage. An extensive children's program with face painting, bouncy castles and much more is an integral part of the event. Numerous food and information stands from local associations invite you to linger. An annually growing market for arts and crafts also enriches the festival with its wide range of products. The Schiffsmodellbau-Club Bochum 1985 e. V. has been there from the very beginning. Here, interested visitors can not only get information about model building, but can also see various model ships in action on one of the ponds.
