Abstract and concrete paintings, drawings, sketches, lino prints, on cardboard, on paper, on canvas, with putty, with paints, with pencils, with brushes, with her hands - the artist Fee Badenius brings everything she has accumulated in the course of her artistic career to the Kunstbalken. The ability to marvel - at the world, people, animals and life as a whole - is what drives Fee Badenius.
Going out into the world with an open mind, confronting the unsettling, the beautiful, the incomprehensible, taking everything in and then making it visible again through her own body, mind and hands, capturing it, making it comprehensible and thus unfolding in harmony with the world. Fee Badenius (*10.02.1986) is a painter, composer and lyricist. Born and raised in Schleswig-Holstein, she moved to North Rhine-Westphalia in 2006. There she studied Waldorf education, crafts and fine arts. The focus of her training was on painting from the very beginning. She taught painting and art in grades 8-12 from 2010.
Her own creativity has always played a major role in Fee Badenius' life.
In 2018, she ventured into freelance work.
In her art, she has always crossed and mixed genre boundaries. As a singer-songwriter, she is well-known and successful throughout the German-speaking world. She has already received numerous cabaret prizes for her songs, including the Dresden Satire Prize, the Leverkusen Cabaret Prize and the Hanns Seidel Foundation Jury Prize. Fee Badenius also writes short stories (published by Philipp Reclam) and poems and recently published a children's book with her own illustrations (published by WachsMalBlöckchen).
She is also passionate about free painting and the natural expression of color and form. She combines different styles, materials and techniques with complete freedom.
