VOZES DO BRASIL
In the organizer's words:
The north-east of Brazil is perhaps the country's most culturally diverse region. After a trip to Fortaleza in October 2024, "Vozes" dedicated itself to the various facets of the music of the north-east. The result is a repertoire that ranges from folk songs to rap and from xaxado to MPB.
The choir has been singing Brazilian music in Cologne for 18 years and has already performed in Rio de Janeiro, Cabo Frio, Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt and Berlin and most recently at the 2022 Choir Festival in Leipzig.
