Accompany forest expert Jan through the Dellbrück forest - discover why trees are real climate protectors, how diversity keeps the ecosystem alive and why the forest on your doorstep is important for the future of us all.

Forests are more than just a green backdrop - they are an air conditioning system, habitat, water reservoir and recreational area all in one. But the climate crisis and loss of biodiversity are putting them under massive pressure.
On this interactive forest walk, Jan, an experienced forestry and nature conservation expert from PRIMAKLIMA, will take you right into the heart of this fascinating ecosystem. Together we will discover:

• How to recognize a healthy forest
• What role forests play in the climate and biodiversity crisis - and how they can be part of the solution
• Why the forests on our doorstep are so valuable

It's not just about listening: along the way you can expect little surprises for your senses and exciting nature facts right on the spot. We will adapt the exact route and activities to what the forest has to offer on the day.

Who is it for?

Everyone is welcome - whether alone, with friends or family. All you need is a desire for fresh air, exercise and a good dose of forest knowledge. The hike leads along forest and nature trails that are not suitable for wheelchairs or baby carriages. The event is therefore unfortunately not barrier-free.
