Concert dialog with choir and talk to critically examine contemporary images of masculinity
What does it mean to be a man today? How does this affect the way we deal with feelings - and why do many men find it difficult to talk about it? We take a look at classic images of masculinity, upbringing, role models and social expectations. And we ask: What consequences does this have for us as individuals - and for our democratic society?
In an open discussion, we want to talk with you about role models, prejudices and possibilities for change. Topics such as domestic violence, homophobia, misogyny and extremism can be addressed, as can dealing with closeness, vulnerability and responsibility. Instead of big theses, we are interested in experiences, perspectives and ideas on what better coexistence can look like.
