Petra no longer understands the world. Why did Jan L., a former soldier and school friend of hers, kill himself in her favorite shopping mall (the Paunsdorf Center) of all places? Equipped with a microphone and soundshield, she starts her podcast to find answers to these and many other questions. We follow Petra as she visits friends and acquaintances of the deceased and gradually finds out what went wrong in his (and our!) life. One episode is more exciting and perplexing than the next ...

Born in the 1980s and children of various medium-sized and small towns in the East, parts of the collective spent a large part of their youth in Kaufland parking lots and in front of McDonalds. Friends and acquaintances have disappeared. We are still looking for each other. Where have we gone?

A sound performance adaptation of the three-part play When There's Nothing Left To Burn You Have To Set Yourself On Fire, which premiered at Schaubühne Lindenfels in 2023. The play was premiered at the Deutsches Theater as one of the prize texts of the Autor:innentheatertage 2021.
