WICKED: PART 2 is the final chapter in the untold story of the Witches of Oz. Elphaba and Glinda have fallen out and must now live with the consequences of their decisions. Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo, Harriet - The Road to Freedom), now demonized as the Wicked Witch of the West, lives in exile in the woods where she continues her fight for the freedom of the animals forced into silence. She desperately tries to uncover the truth about the Wizard (Jeff Goldblum, Jurassic Park). Meanwhile, Glinda (Ariana Grande, Don't Look Up) has become a shining symbol of good for all of Oz. She lives in the palace in the Emerald City and revels in the comforts of fame and prestige. On the instructions of Madame Akaber (Oscar®-winner Michelle Yeoh), Glinda serves as a dazzling comforter who is supposed to reassure the inhabitants of Oz that all is well under the Wizard's rule. Although Glinda's fame continues to grow and her spectacular wedding to Prince Fiyero (Olivier Award-winner and Emmy and SAG nominee Jonathan Bailey, Fellow Travelers) is imminent, she is still reeling from her separation from Elphaba. Despite her efforts to bring about a reconciliation between Elphaba and the wizard, the two friends only grow further apart. Not only does this affect Moq (Tony nominee Ethan Slater, The Man Behind the Camera) and Fiyero, but it also jeopardizes the safety of Elphaba's sister Nessarose (Marissa Bode, Wicked) - and suddenly a girl from Kansas comes into the picture. When an angry mob rises up against the supposed Wicked Witch, Glinda and Elphaba must come together one last time. Their extraordinary friendship is the key to their destiny, and all that remains is for them to face each other with ruthless honesty and deep compassion in order to change themselves and all of Oz for the better.
