Wild Brühl - for families

This walk is aimed at families with children of all ages who want to spend a lively, wild and nature-oriented time outdoors together. On our family walk through the Ville forest, we discover the tracks and signs of the animals that live here: Deer, wild boar, hares, squirrels, birds and many more. With open eyes and curious senses, we go in search of traces. Along the way, we also encounter wild herbs and their ancient stories. We learn what they were used for in the past and what they tell us about the landscape. Tracking and knowledge of wild herbs combine to create a shared foray that leaves plenty of room for discovery and amazement.

Meeting point & schedule:

We start at the Maiglerwiese in 50321 Brühl and walk for about 2.5 hours and around 2 km. As we take many breaks, linger at particularly beautiful places and take our time, the route is easy to walk and not strenuous. At Lake Pingsdorf, our destination, we can end the walk with snacks we have brought with us.

Tips:

Please remember suitable footwear and clothing (muddy pants if necessary) as well as protection against the well-known "pests" (mosquitoes and ticks). Dogs should be left at home for the duration.

Duration: approx. 2.5 hours Maximum 12 people (incl. children) The event is aimed at families with children.
