Wolfgang Haffner is one of the outstanding personalities of European jazz - a world-class drummer who is celebrating two extraordinary anniversaries this year: his 60th birthday and an impressive 50 years on stage.

More than 4,000 concerts in over 100 countries, contributions to around 400 albums, two ECHO Jazz awards - Haffner's musical CV reads like an international success story. Whether with Al Jarreau, Chaka Khan, Pat Metheny, Gregory Porter, Bill Evans or Klaus Doldinger, whether with Hildegard Knef, Nils Landgren, Nightmares On Wax or Die Fantastischen Vier - the list of his collaborations is as long as it is sonorous. His unmistakable style, his versatility and his keen sense of groove make him one of the most sought-after drummers in the world.

To celebrate his anniversary, Wolfgang Haffner invites you to a very special concert evening: Together with his long-time musical companions Simon Oslender (keyboards) and Thomas Stieger (bass), he presents classics, new works and musical milestones from a unique career in the Wolfgang Haffner Trio.
