Woodship are going on a release tour with their new EP "Transciency". The trio from Unna and Düsseldorf stands for energetic modern alternative rock that addresses social grievances and at the same time paints a hopeful vision. Celebrating humorous joie de vivre and still talking about serious topics? Woodship prove that both are possible.

After over 50 shows in two years, support gigs for Blackout Problems, The Intersphere, Leap, Rebecca Lou, Prime Circle and Modernlove as well as numerous festival appearances throughout Germany, the signs continue to point to growth. Successful features on MTV, Guitar, Gitarre & Bass, Visions, Slam, MoreCore and airplay on Radio Bob, Fritz Unsigned, Bremen Vier and WDR2 speak for themselves. With "Transciency", Woodship take up the themes of transience and change - be it on a personal, political or social level.

The support comes from the GoDotS and it gets loud and angry again, because it's all about fear and anger and fun and love when the GoDotS take to the stage again after the release of their second album "Where Do We Start". The band plays for a better future, for peace and love. But they don't hold back their anger about current circumstances. They precisely denounce social problems such as homelessness, climate policy, the economic system and loneliness. But there are also one or two nice stories about nights on the beach or bank robberies. After all, not everything is bad. And yet the question hovers over everything: Where Do We Start?

To ensure that Woodship shows are an enjoyable experience for everyone, the band would like to emphasize the following:

"We realize that concerts in male-dominated genres are often not a safe space for people who don't fit into heteronormative stereotypes. Women, trans people and the queer community are explicitly welcome at our shows - as are Muslim, Jewish and all other marginalized groups. We listen to you and do not tolerate any assaultive or abusive behavior. Wear a hijab or a Pride flag if you like - we want a show that is as diverse and colorful as you are. With this in mind, we urge all visitors to respect the boundaries and space of others and to look out for each other."
