Learn the basics of analog photography in a relaxed atmosphere - and create images that inspire. As experienced analog photographers, Anna & Chris have already photographed all formats from 35mm to 120 film, but in this workshop we will concentrate on working with 35mm film. The workshop is aimed at all people who enjoy analog photography and want to understand the basic processes + exposure.
You've come to the right workshop if you:
you are interested in analog photography but have no idea where to start
you want to understand your analog camera (all cameras from point and shoot to manual exposure are welcome! We can also provide you with an optional camera).
you want to understand how to properly expose 35mm film
you want to get to know the process of analog photography from the beginning to film development
you enjoy analog photography and would like to understand it from the ground up

After a theoretical part in which we explain all the basics and already address your questions & challenges, we will go into practice on our 70s site. Here we will show you how to correctly measure the exposure of your film, give you tips on camera handling, framing and much more.

02 Practice shoot (2-3 hours)
Learn how to expose your film correctly in different lighting situations - and get to know the range of a 400 ISO film
Try out your creativity and test lighting situations, compositions and let your creativity run free
