Workshop futur

In the organizer's words:

Model-making workshop for the "futur" exhibition at the Simultanhalle
September 13, 2-6 p.m.

In the workshop Models ‧ Prototypes ‧ Simultaneous Objects, models will be used to explore spatial possibilities for the future of the Simultanhalle. The proposals can range from concrete, structural ideas to utopian, symbolic contributions. The workshop accompanies the themes of the current exhibition futur, illuminating them from a participatory perspective and inviting active engagement.

The theme of circular construction is taken up by crafting with materials that are usually found as waste in the household. The (building) stock is perceived as a valuable source and store of materials and its preservation, upgrading and activation is brought into focus. Participants should therefore bring their own materials, such as old packaging, empty kitchen and toilet paper rolls, crown caps, tin cans, milk cartons, matchboxes, egg cartons and more.
Cutting mats, cutters, scissors and adhesives will be provided.

At 4 pm, there will also be a joint tour of the exhibition with artist Valeria Fahrenkrog and members of the board of trustees.

The workshop is free of charge, registration is required! All ages are cordially invited.
