Workshop: SWERFs entkräften – Ein Workshop zur Auseinandersetzung mit s*xarbeitsfeindlichen Argumentationsmustern

Whether at a family party, on the train or in one political group or another, we often encounter the same discriminatory statements, false assumptions and, on closer inspection, unfounded arguments when it comes to s*x work. Some of these stem from ignorance and one-sided media portrayals of the s*x industry. On the other hand, SWERFs (S*x Work Exclusionary Radical Feminists) make their voices heard with aggressive vehemence, denying s*xworkers their self-determined choice of profession, rejecting and fighting against it. This is fatal for S*xworkers, as they play a major role in reinforcing the stigmatization of our profession. What do S*xworkers need? Solidary supporters who stand up for their perspectives and demands! Are you unsettled by these recurring lines of argumentation and/or do you want to learn together how to refute the bogus arguments, misinformation and hostility towards S*xwork in general? Then you are cordially invited to this workshop! Together we will look at the most common anti-sex work statements, debunk the larger narratives and world views behind them and develop argumentation strategies based on them. You are also welcome to bring in your own questions or case studies, which we can analyze together.
